Interiors Team Celebrates at IIDA Columbus Awards
Our interiors team brought home multiple awards at the IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter – Columbus City Center’s awards, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they’ve put into these projects.
Both men's and women's locker rooms feature identical high-end finishes and custom amenities, reflecting Vanderbilt's commitment to equal support for both programs.
Vanderbilt University Golf Team Building took home an Honor Award in the Higher Ed category for showing how collegiate athletic facilities can support both individual excellence and team connection. The jury recognized the custom millwork, integrated hall of fame, and hospitality-driven amenities that make this facility work as both a recruiting tool and a daily home for student-athletes.
The stylist training center provides new PENZONE team members with a dedicated space to develop their skills in an environment that embodies the brand's creative energy.
Base One earned both a Merit Award in the Work category and the People’s Choice Award for transforming PENZONE’s historic flagship salon into a creative campus that serves everyone from new stylists to community members. The jury highlighted how thoughtful adaptive reuse created something more sustainable and meaningful than starting from scratch.

Toscana Kitchen & Wine Market received a Merit Award in the Play category for its refined palette and rich textures. The jury noted how each area introduces something unique, from the wine tasting section flowing into the central bar to custom wine displays in the private dining rooms. The planning creates distinctive experiences for both hotel guests and locals.
