Jeffrey Park Phase 9

Unparelleled proximity to downtown

The mixed-use community, Jeffrey Park, has been under development for about a decade. We worked with the client on phase 9 of the project: residential units, office, parking, and residential amenities.

The 41-acre mixed-use development was formerly home to the Jeffrey Manufacturing plant, making brownfield remediation an important first step. Phase 9 is the site’s flagship at the development’s southern end, ideal for residents, placing it in Columbus’ urban core and the very walkable neighborhood of Italian Village. The client’s community experience hub is also included in the development.

The massing of the residential building is broken down with scale and material changes with a central courtyard, providing light and air into the apartments. The 490-space parking garage buffers residents and office tenants from I-670 traffic while increasing accessibility. Wrapped around it is an art installation of media screens and murals funded by the developer to give back to the community.

The amenity deck with an outdoor terrace and pool is perched atop the parking garage. These amenities are slightly angled to block noise and visuals of the nearby I-670 while increasing the sweeping views of downtown Columbus. Adjacent to the parking garage is the 110,000 SF office building. Its ground level fits within the existing streetscape, while the upper floors are clad in glass.
