PKLYN transforms a historic Gowanus warehouse into Brooklyn’s premier pickleball destination. The 18,000-square-foot space preserves the building’s industrial character while creating an inviting atmosphere with its soaring 23-foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, and abundant natural light streaming through twenty skylights.

The design prioritizes both playability and social connection. Five professional courts and a dedicated dink court feature premium asphalt surfaces and carefully considered lighting, creating optimal playing conditions for both competitive and casual players. The central mezzanine, complete with glass guardrails and comfortable seating, offers spectacular 270-degree views of the action below, while a sunken lounge and windowed event space provide intimate areas for gathering.

What sets PKLYN apart is its thoughtful integration into the neighborhood’s fabric. Rather than following the typical “eatertainment” model, the space functions as a true community hub. The full-service bar and partnerships create a welcoming atmosphere where members can unwind after a match, share a drink with friends, or simply enjoy the vibrant environment. Born from the local pickleball community’s grassroots efforts to create more playing spaces in Brooklyn, PKLYN represents a permanent home for the sport while maintaining the warmth and inclusivity that made the community special in the first place.
