See what architecture and interior design actually look like in practice.
Our Design Discovery Days give students firsthand experience with what architecture and interior design actually involve. For high school students, we offer both in-school presentations and immersive studio sessions to explore whether these careers are the right fit. College students learn what happens after graduation: how classroom work translates to professional practice and what different career paths look like in the field.
Whether in a classroom or in our Downtown Columbus office, students hear from our team, work through real project exercises, and ask the questions that don’t come up in typical career programming. They get the kind of insight you won’t find in a course catalog: what the work actually requires, how projects move from concept to construction, and what professional practice looks like day to day.
For High School Students
We offer two ways to introduce students to careers in architecture and interior design. Both formats are recommended for sophomores through seniors and can be adjusted for timing and length to fit your program.
Contact us through the form below to discuss what would work best for your students.
School Visits
We bring architecture and interior design into your classroom. Our team walks students through what these professions actually look like: the work, the education paths, the day-to-day realities. Students hear directly from our team in a roughly one-hour session with time for questions. It’s a chance to explore careers they might not otherwise encounter.
Studio Sessions
For nonprofits and community organizations, we host students in our downtown Columbus office for a deeper look at what it’s like to work in architecture and interior design. Students hear from our team about career paths, try their hand at real design challenges, and get honest answers about education requirements and what these professions involve.
Half-day sessions, limited to 12 participants, offered twice per year.
For College Students
Whether you’re exploring career paths or preparing to transition into professional practice, this session focuses on the realities of working in architecture and interior design. Our team will walk through how classroom work translates to professional projects, what to expect in your first years of practice, the path to licensure, and the different career trajectories available in the field. Connect with our team and other students while working through real project exercises in our downtown practice.
Next session will be in spring 2027, 10am-2pm with lunch provided. Limited to 12 participants.
