Scioto Country Club

Fitness for today and tomorrow

With its rich history as a community centerpiece, the Scioto Country Club wanted to provide a state-of-the-art fitness center to enhance the member experience.

The new facility fits neatly into the club’s prestigious campus, with a traditional exterior style that complements its surroundings. Its modern and monochromatic interior houses 4,500 square feet of open gym, a retail market, designated spinning and yoga rooms, a group fitness area and a treatment room.

We helped equip Scioto with a set of tools to appeal to the next generation of members.

Because the fitness center sits on a slope, the design team was able to design a two-story building with a one-story look, giving the client the square footage they wanted with a smaller overall footprint. New and improved areas offer a better overall experience for the individual while connecting the club’s social and fitness offerings, including paddle ball, a warming hut, a lounge, updated men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas, and a private spa.
